As the Jewelery Exporters Association, we carry out the following projects for the benefit of the sector, using domestic resources and European Union resources.
With the "Hearing the Charm of Stones" project, with a total budget of 500,000 Turkish Liras within the scope of the Istanbul Development Agency's Small-Scale Infrastructure Financial Support Program for Social Inclusion, ornaments were designed to increase the employability and entrepreneurial capacities of individuals with 40% or more hearing impairment residing in the Istanbul region. A vocational training center has been established where students can receive stone (semi-precious stone) processing training.
With the "Treating the Future with Precious Stones" project, T.R. with a total budget of 300,000 Euros within the scope of the Grant Program for Improving the Quality of Vocational and Technical Education in Turkey. Work is carried out to meet the need for trained human resources and master trainers in the sector, carried out with the financial support of the Human Resources Development Operational Program of the European Union and Financial Assistance Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
